New funder toolkit launches

Investing at the Frontlines of Climate Change: A Funder Toolkit on Climate, Health, and Equity launched in May 2021 through a partnership of eight funder networks. The aim is to help philanthropy accelerate investments, advance strategy and expand cross-cutting partnerships, especially by supporting highly impacted communities and populations in their own solutions-focused work.

Led by the Health and Environmental Funders Network (HEFN), the toolkit development team included: Jeff Wise, HEFN Director of Strategic Programs; consultant Kathy Sessions, Principal, Leaven Partners; consultant Shalini Gupta, SGupta Consulting; and Matthew O’Malley, Grand Junction Design.
